For JCFA member companies whose basis of management
is placed on customer satisfaction, training of competent and
qualified persons (= for improving the quality of customer relations)
is above all an important subject. To foster and train professionals
who will shoulder the future credit business, JCFA conducts a
wide range of training which covers basic knowledge of the trade
to business expertise, customer relations, leadership, general
education and financial conditions, with specialists and learned
instructors supported.
On March 11, 2000, the "Academy of Consumer Financial Services" was
inaugurated to study consumer finance service from scientific areas.
The academy conducts various analysis in many directions such as
economics, business administration, law, sociology, psychology
and pedagogic studies to promote the study through international
exchange, etc. This is the first systematic and academic approach
to be practiced in Japan, and many of the JCFA members take part
in the society to research and study related problems.
With Professor Kenichi Enatsu of Waseda University's school of
Commerce as Chairman and professors of other universities as members,
the academy aims at giving birth to professionals for expanding
the foundation in the consumer finance market by setting consumer
finance service as one of the special subject of study.
